The Printing Process

Whether you are a business or personal customer, Kathryn will work with you to design your item; right from scratch, re-construct it from a hard copy or just assemble and realise what you had in mind.

Of course, you may have your own artwork and just want us to print it for you, we are happy to do this too. If you are supplying us a print ready file, we can accept .pdf, .tif, .jpeg, all MS Office products, InDesign, CorelDraw and Photoshop files. Please design your file in CMYK with 3 to 5mm bleed and 5 or 10mm margins etc, if you are unsure, please get in touch and we can discuss the job. If your print ready file requires any alterations, we will discuss these with you before we take any action.

We will produce a proof for you to check and we would advise you check it very carefully - this is the time to spot errors. If you choose to waive the proof, or do not spot any errors made at this stage, you will still be expected to pay for the job. Once you are happy with the proof and have agreed it, then we will print your job.

Your job will either be printed by Robert, who qualified after serving a 4 year City & Guilds Apprenticeship and has 15 years experience, using the lithographic press or a digital machine. Which machine we use depends on the quantity, material and speed with which you want your job. Either way, we will ensure it is the best we can produce.

You can arrange to collect your job on a day that suits you, or have it delivered (we use a local haulage company where possible) or we can ring you when it's ready and discuss how you want to receive it then.

Finally, we will send you an invoice (30 day terms), or you can pay on collection. We accept cash and cheques, but cannot accept cards.
